The country of Jordan's climate is a hot and arid, mostly desert, land with long warm and dry summer and short, cool winters. The climate of Jordan is caused by the subtropical aridity of the Arabian deserts, and the subtropical humidity of the eastern Mediterranean areas.
THE EFFECT OF THE WATER SHORTAGE
CLIMATE
The water shortage that is currently going on in the Middle East is really just adding to the problem in Jordan. Jordan, currently, is one of the most drought vulnerable countries int he world. If Jordan were to keep being effected, they would not be able to sustain many crops and other things, seeing how around 64% of their water is being put out into agriculture. Along with climate change making it consistently warmer throughout even the winter, it has the potential to suffer tremendously.
